Urbana 18

Housing at Urbana

On July 1, the Urbana Exhibits team will email a housing link and reservation instructions to all registered exhibitors. The email also includes the contact information for Connections Housing, who will be managing the housing reservations for Urbana 18. If you haven’t received this link and instructions, and you are a registered exhibitor, please contact the Urbana exhibits team, and we will resend the housing information to you.

The Holy Spirit is orchestrating God’s global mission of redemption. Desiring to follow his leading, Urbana grounds its program in Scripture. We trust his Word will speak and move us powerfully.

“Knowing the Bible is key to knowing God’s character and his purposes.”

Do you have a heart for God's global mission? Do you have experience designing and building digital tools? Would you love to support students and recent graduates in discerning how to use their technological gifts for serving the Lord?

At #Hack4Missions, we're looking for mentors to guide our 150 participants as they solve challenges like:

Trying to find a faster way to translate Scripture? Looking for help designing an app that will share the gospel? Hoping to connect with remote missionaries? These are just three examples of the kind of projects included in last Urbana’s #Hack4Missions.

Once again, #Hack4Missions is looking forward to supporting you in all your technological challenges while showing our 150 mission-minded participants how they can honor God with their digital skill set and connect with his global mission.

Having served as a student leader in his home country of Brazil as well as in Germany, Canada, and Italy, Urbana 18 expositor René Breuel still draws upon that experience as he pastors Hopera, an evangelical church in Rome, Italy.

“We emphasize incarnational evangelism and friendships,” he said. “We host groups for seekers, dinners, and art evenings. It’s wonderful to see God using what we did as students on a larger scale.”
