Janet Balasiri Singleterry

Janet Balasiri Singleterry is the editor of Voices Rising: Women of Color Finding & Restoring Hope in the City. She's a Thai American who grew up in Indiana. Janet worked with InterVarsity for 11 years and directed Global Urban Treks to Bangkok, Thailand. She and her husband now serve with Servant Partners as the directors of the San Jose site leading a nonprofit as well as pastoring a young church plant, Shalom Iglesia, a bilingual congregation in their low-income Latino neighborhood, where they met and have been blessed to have Nayeli and Ana as informal foster daughters in their family.
