Challenges & Opportunities of the Church in the English (Anglo) Caribbean

Tracing a brief history of the Caribbean church in the English-speaking (Anglo) Caribbean, we’ll highlight some of the major challenges which the church must confront today. We’ll also present opportunities for mission and evangelization in the region in the twenty-first century.

Speakers

A native of Jamaica, Floyd lives in Kingston and volunteers in student ministry with InterVarsity/USA. He loves the story of the tortoise and the hare and strives to emulate its principles of humility and steadiness.

Desmond’s hometown is Georgetown, Guyana where he studied and currently lives. He is the Regional Secretary of IFES working in the English, Dutch, and French Caribbean. Jim Elliot’s story of his sacrificial life is one of his favorites.
