Brad Layland, CEO of The FOCUS Group, first learned the principles and practices of Taking Donors Seriously® as a college student in 1993 while seeking to raise personal support as a part-time staff with Young Life. Over his 30-year career, he’s developed a passion for, and expertise in, relationship-based fundraising. Brad has an upcoming book: Turning Donors into Partners: Principles for Fundraising You’ll Actually Enjoy. Brad lives in St. Augustine, Florida, with his wife, Wendy, and their four children. He has completed over 50 marathons and two Ironman triathlons.
