Stephanie discovered her passion for planning ministry events at Urbana 09 and dreamed of organizing an event like Urbana one day. She’s extremely thankful for the chance to help another generation of students find their callings just like she did. During college, InterVarsity had a powerful influence on her with its emphasis on biblical training, community, and leadership development. Stephanie currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
“Rock and Alternative. Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, etc. I'll listen to pretty much anything except country! However, my current radio station of choice on Pandora is Broadway Showtunes :)”
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Donut or scone? Coffee or tea?
“Coffee! Occasionally tea, usually Earl Grey in the afternoon with a splash of milk to honor my British heritage (or made as a London Fog). Scone or muffin please!”
What’s on your bucket list?
“To visit all 50 U.S. states and at least travel to each continent (including seeing a penguin in Antarctica!)”
When I think of college, I think of . . .
“community, laughter, leadership, and personal development.”
Besides the Bible, what books/authors have influenced you the most?
“Mark Batterson's In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day and The Circle Maker have really influenced my Christian walk. And Start With Why and Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek for leadership and career books.”
