Besides her service as a pastor, Kathy Maskell also leads the Vineyard Justice Network, which trains Vineyard leadership to pursue God’s kingdom justice. She currently serves on the Executive Board for Vineyard USA. Raised by Buddhist parents in San Diego, Kathy first got rocked by Jesus’ kindness and power during her studies at the University of Chicago. For six years, she worked at Love146, a leading anti-trafficking organization and also co-planted Elm City Vineyard Church. Her MDiv work at Union Theological Seminary (NYC) focused on abolitionist movements, developing Biblical resources on justice and exploitation, and analyzing poverty as a root cause of human trafficking alongside leaders of poor-led organizations.
