Laurie Niewoehner

Laurie Niewoehner helped found Servant Partners (SP), a fellowship working alongside the urban poor, in 1993. She and her husband and three kids have ministered with the urban poor in Los Angeles County, Honduras, India, Kenya, and Nicaragua. Currently Laurie leads the Member Care Team, ministering to SP staff and local leaders as they serve others. She loves watching the Lord do his work as she prays, counsels, and teaches.

Omar Cova

Omar Cova is a Mexican-born, Los Angeles-raised follower of Jesus.  Rescued by Jesus at 19, he has since experienced Jesus’ call to cross borders with the gospel in urban and cross-cultural contexts.  Omar has served Jesus on various short-term mission trips in six different countries and lived in Nagpur, India, for 15 months with his family. In 2018, he joined Servant Partners and is currently ministering at Hope Community Church in East Los Angeles. He is happily married to Gabriela, and they have three kids.

Gustavo Galvan

Gustavo Galvan is Chicano born and was raised on the East side of Los Angeles. He lived a rough life for his first 40 years but then started a relationship with Jesus because of his wife. Since then, he has served missionally in seven countries. Gustavo joined Servant Partners in 2021 and is now the Missions Director for his local community church in Lincoln Heights. He’s been happily married for 25 years with five children and five grandkids.
