David Bahena

David Bahena is Associate General Secretary of IFES and has spent most of his life in student ministry. In recent years, he’s dedicated himself to studying the issue of Violence Against Women (VAW) in Mexico. He has a master’s degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and is in his third year of a Doctorate in Intercultural Studies (D.I.S.) at Biola University. His thesis will be on VAW in the context of the evangelical church in Mexico. 

Claudia Bahena

Claudia Garza de Bahena has more than 15 years of experience in community development. She’s currently the Director of the Foundation for Family Development A.C. (Fundefam), a community center serving one of the most vulnerable areas in southern Monterrey, Mexico. Claudia is studying for a master's degree at Fuller Theological Seminary. She has participated as a facilitator of seminars, workshops, and conferences on family, integral mission, and prevention of gender violence in several countries of Central America and Mexico.
