Starting a Cross-Cultural Evangelistic Bible Study

God has put Christians in North American universities in a unique position to engage in cross cultural missions through starting evangelistic cross-cultural Bible studies with students from restricted and closed parts of the world. This seminar will challenge you as you consider starting a group on your campus and will give you practical tools to begin and lead a study.

Allison Schafer

(as of 2012)

Allison Schafer has been serving on InterVarsity staff for seven years in St. Louis, Missouri, serving specifically among international students. After graduating from college Allison was compelled to serve cross culturally and called to reach college students. International student ministry has led Allison to minister in a variety of contexts: among Latino and African researchers at a prestigious university, among East Asian seekers who are eagerly searching for truth, and among energetic undergraduates who are challenging their campus to embrace the road of cross cultural friendships and reconciliation. Through all of these contexts, Allison has seen international leaders developed and prepared to change their countries.
