This seminar will introduce you to the cultural context of Orthodox and Islamic countries united in one IFES Eurasia region. You’ll learn how God is moving through students in new campuses, new cities, and new countries in these post-Soviet territories. And together we’ll highlight principles of how to plant and help in growing a student ministry in a new place.
Katya Susueva was involved in student ministry in a small Moldovan town all four years of her university experience. Since 2017, she has been a staff worker with CSC (IFES) Moldova, first in Chisinau, the capital, where she was involved in starting the International Student Ministry in Moldova. Since 2018, Katya has been responsible for Pioneering Student Ministry in Transnistria. In the summer of 2022, she was part of a team that visited one of the Central Asian countries to help the pioneering ministry there.
