The Caribbean is a heterogeneous region which presents a vast array of opportunities for missions, especially in student ministry. This seminar seeks to provide participants with information to help them in missions involvement—praying, giving and going- in the Caribbean area.

Desmond’s hometown is Georgetown, Guyana where he studied and currently lives. He is the Regional Secretary of IFES working in the English, Dutch, and French Caribbean. Jim Elliot’s story of his sacrificial life is one of his favorites.

Marc Pulvar was born on the French island of Martinique. He became a disciple of Christ as a student on his university campus, and for the last 20 years, he has served his region’s French, English, and Dutch students as a mentor and youth pastor. Marc has joined several humanitarian missions in the wake of tropical disasters, traveling to places like Haiti, Dominica, and Saint Martin.
