Reverend Ray is status Cree. Born in northern Alberta, he is an assistant professor of theology at Ambrose Seminary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He also works with My People International to develop indigenous leadership and is the former director for the First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada, which encourages pastors ministering to Aboriginal people.
In his free time, Ray enjoys reading and writing. He is interested in student missions because the “young people keep the old people alive.” The future hope that young people bring to reaching a lost world with God’s power is the motivating factor in Ray’s support of student missions.
