Writing about matters of faith and church can be a beautiful and challenging missional activity. We will explore the calling of the Christian writer and the intersection between writing and faith. Also, we will discuss some very practical insights about writing well and ways to keep growing as a writer.

Speakers

Besides being a senior editor at Faith Today, Karen Stiller is a freelance writer and editor. She is editor of Evangelicals Around the World and also is coauthor of two books about the church in Canada. Karen hosts the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s podcast and the Religion and Society debate series at the University of Toronto. She serves on the advisory board of the Cardus Religious Freedom Institute as well. She has a degree in international development studies and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Non-Fiction. Karen has reported on church mission and relief work as a journalist in places like South Sudan, Senegal, Cambodia, and Uganda.
