Alexa Kus

Alexa Kus is the Associate Director for InterVarsity’s National Arts Ministry, where she leads students, staff, faculty, and professional artists to serve art schools across the country. Before InterVarsity, she worked in student affairs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and participated in The Simple Way’s Mission Year Program. She is a Chicago-based visual artist with a degree in ceramics and an affection for printmaking. Alexa is committed to developing serious artists with serious faith and believes artists are uniquely gifted to bring deeply needed restoration and beauty to the world.

Calvin Chan

Since 2016, Calvin has served as InterVarsity’s Campus Staff Minister at the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, and is now the Associate Director for InterVarsity’s National Arts Ministry. He is also currently the cellist with the first national tour of the Broadway show Jagged Little Pill. Calvin received degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music and has been teaching and performing in NYC since 2014. Calvin and his wife love vegan food, sustainability, and their three cats.
