Renee Lick MA, RN, has been a nurse for over 10 years and a follower of Jesus for even longer. She currently serves as the Student Ministries Director with Nurses Christian Fellowship (NCF), one of InterVarsity’s Strategic Ministries. Renee recently finished a seminary degree at North Park Theological Seminary with an emphasis on faith and health, and lives in Chicago where she was part of the launch team for a multiethnic church plant in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Renee’s past nursing experience is in intensive care and she currently works part-time at Lawndale Christian Health Center, which provides care for those with limited access to quality healthcare in Chicago. She serves on the board of directors of Christian Community Health Fellowship (www.cchf.org), an organization of healthcare professionals and students who are committed to living out the gospel through healthcare among the poor.
Renee has co-led two global projects to Africa and enjoys walking alongside students in cross-cultural experiences. She has been on staff with Nurses Christian Fellowship for 9 years and is excited about what God is currently doing among nursing students. Renee speaks to students across the country and challenges them to care for everyone with respect and dignity, practice nursing as ministry, and take part in of God’s mission of transformation in their school of nursing and in the world!
