Marilyn and her husband Doug spent 27 years in Latin America with International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. They lived in Bolivia for 2 years, Argentina for 3 years, and Mexico for 21 years. Their passion for students never waned, but over the years their focus shifted from local student ministry to care and oversight of staff and national movements. Marilyn was actively involved with women in Bible Study and discipleship.
In 1991, Marilyn and Doug returned to the United States to work with InterVarsity/USA. For twenty years, they lived another passion; working in the area of Spiritual Formation with InterVarsity staff, before retiring in 2011.
They now live in Wheaton, IL, actively involved in a local church, mentoring Wheaton College graduate students and enjoying their children and grandchildren.
