Jess Delegencia was on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship from 1995 – 2008, serving as Team Leader (UC Berkeley), Area Director (San Francisco East Bay, CA), and Project Director for the Global Urban Trek program (Philippines/Asia). Jess is also the co-founder of Kapwa, InterVarsity’s Filipino American chapter and ministry in the SF Bay Area. He performed an actor and storyteller for Urbana 2000, 2003, and 2006.
Jess is currently finishing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University. He works as a trainer for the Center for Intercultural Leadership at UC Berkeley and the Coordinator of the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Roundtable at the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry (CLGS) at PSR.
