H.C. Yang is an Assistant Director with InterVarsity’s Asian American Ministries. Previously, he served campuses in Chicago for 10 years. Having immigrated from South Korea as a child, he’s driven by the hope of a revival in Christianity through the leadership of marginalized communities in the U.S. and abroad. H.C. is particularly concerned with the individualism of Western Christianity. Somehow, he holds degrees in Divinity and Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Duke Divinity School, respectively. His perpetual goal is to do good work with good friends. He loves his friends and family more than anything else.
