Gabi Cova was born in Mexico and grew up in California, living in the same low-income neighborhood known for drugs and gang violence for 20-plus years. She wanted to escape once she got her education, but when she gave her life to Christ, God planted a new dream to see her neighbors come to faith. So Gabi focused on loving people, leading a junior high boys’ Bible study and an afterschool program before graduating with her master’s degree in education. Beyond her work in her neighborhood, she’s also served cross-culturally in Ecuador, Mexico, and India. Gabi is married and has three kids.
