The Connections Hall
Exhibit Hall

Thousands of people come to Urbana, seeking direction and guidance. As they engage with what they are hearing and learning, they’ll be asking, “What’s next?”

THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN!

You’ll have the opportunity to activate participants: praying with them and helping them discern where they fit into God’s global mission!

Who Can Exhibit?

The Urbana Connections Hall is specifically for

  • Mission–Sending agencies
  • Mission–Equipping agencies
  • Graduate School & Seminaries

All organizations must affirm InterVarsity’s Doctrinal Statement and be registered with the appropriate governmental agency for tax purposes.

While we recognize that political engagement is a legitimate Christian vocation which can advance God’s global mission, Urbana does not accept exhibitors whose primary focus involves legislative reform.

Urbana reserves the right to decline any application. Urbana will decline the applications of potential exhibitors when it deems, at its sole discretion, that the exhibitors’ presence, messages, or practices might disrupt the conference or might conflict with the goals of the conference’s sponsoring organizations even if the potential exhibitors otherwise meet the above criteria.

Specific Criteria

Mission-Sending Agencies

Organizations that are geared toward mobilizing students through sending internships, short-term, mid-term, and long-term mission opportunities.

  • Affirm InterVarsity’s Doctrinal Statement.
  • Have advancing God’s global mission as the vision and purpose of your organization.
  • Demonstrate affiliation, accountability, or partnership with an umbrella organization, network, or other reputable agencies.
  • Offer short-term, mid-term, and/or long-term opportunities or access to opportunities for kingdom service. These programs will be evaluated based on:
    • The training, mentoring, and pastoral care offered to participants through an established program, with attention paid to spiritual, relational, and cross-cultural matters.
    • The partnership with local churches and indigenous ministries in the area where the ministry serves.
  • Be registered with the appropriate governmental agency for tax purposes.

  • Affirm InterVarsity’s Doctrinal Statement.
  • Demonstrate affiliation, accountability, or partnership with an umbrella organization, network, or other reputable agencies.
  • Provide services, training programs that help directly equip students for a lifetime of global service; and/or provide fair trade business opportunities, business-as-mission opportunities, or internships that mobilize students.

I purchased a gift card at the last Urbana, can I use it for an exhibitor registration?

Unfortunately, gift cards may not be used to purchase exhibitor registrations, Exhibit Booth Packages, or exhibitor advertising, or other exhibitor purchases; they may only be used toward the purchase of student registrations.
