Director of Urbana and Vice President of Missions, InterVarsity USA
(as of 2012)
As a Harvard student at Urbana 93, Tom was compelled to give his whole life to student ministry and global missions. Since then, he has planted a student movement in Mongolia with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, helped plant 16 new InterVarsity chapters as the Regional Director for the central U.S., written a book published by InterVarsity Press, and spoken to thousands about missions. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board for Wycliffe Bible Translators and is the Lausanne International Deputy Director for North America.
God has a mission. God has acted in history—and is still acting now—to reconcile people from every nation and all of creation to himself. He is the primary agent of his mission. He began his mission, and he continues to work it out in greater love and power than we can imagine.
