Grace Theological Seminary is a learning community dedicated to teaching, training, and transforming the whole person for local church and global ministry. This purpose is accomplished through quality instruction in the biblical literature including the original languages, the study of various systems of theological thought, exposure to past and present movements in Christian history and missions, the development of communicative and administrative skills, the cultivation of spiritual life, and encouragement in various kinds of Christian service. The objective is to provide pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists, and other leaders for evangelical Christian ministries throughout the world.
Describe the accredited programs in cross-cultural ministries or missions offered by your organization:
We offer a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies and Master of Divinity in Intercultural Studies. These programs are designed to prepare students spiritually and practically from ministry in cross-cultural settings. The difference between the two is that the Master of Divinity will train students in the biblical languages for a ministry that will require a larger amount of teaching and preaching. We also offer doctoral programs for those involved in cross-cultural ministry. We offer a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Intercultural Studies as well as a Doctor of Missiology. The Doctor of Missiology program began as a program specifically for Korean pastors and missionaries. We continue to offer it along with a MA in Missiology for those students but have recently expanded the D.Miss. program and now offer it to English-speaking students as well.
