Vision:FRB’s mission is to end world hunger by globally connecting local communities through agriculture in order to raise funding and awareness.
Describe the types of ministry opportunities your agency will offer to Urbana 12 participants:-Opportunities to engage in starting Growing Projects in their churches and communities. -Opportunities for travel overseas to visit programs administered by our members in over 30 countries. Our members include Catholic Relief Services, MCC, Lutheran World Relief, Evangelical Covenant Church, etc. -Opportunities to travel with FRB staff and volunteers to Washington, DC with FRB's Heart of the Hill program. We make monthly visits to the Hill to meet with our representatives to talk about the importance of working with small farmers around the world. We do not lobby but we advocate for context-led, small scale development in hard to reach places. -Opportunities for internships with FRB and our members
