The vision of Dallas Baptist University is to build a great Christian university that is pleasing to God by producing Christ-centered servant leaders who are transforming the world.
Describe the accredited programs in cross-cultural ministries or missions offered by your organization:
Our Ph.D in Leadership Studies has a ministry concentration that trains individuals with a calling into the mission field. Our Master of Arts in Global Leadership is designed for a growing new breed of global-thinking leaders who aspire to serve in ways that break old paradigms and forge new ones. The Master of Arts in Global Leadership explores ways to be a leader in the rapidly changing world of ideas, cultures, religions, and business ventures. Students are highly motivated, self-starters with innovative ideas who are eager to make a difference in the world. The Master of Arts in Global Leadership is for people who are looking for ways to achieve significance by connecting positively with people in other cultures and societies around the globe. DBU sponsors numerous mission trips each year through our Spiritual Life. Recent mission trips have taken DBU students from the inner city of Sao Paulo, Brazil to the earthquake-ridden areas of Chile to teach English and help rebuild, as well as to New York City to share the Gospel of Christ through one-on-one encounters. The Go Now! Missions program has sent over 40 DBU students to spend their summer, fall, and spring breaks in places like China, Thailand, England, and Malaysia.
