How to Partner with the Student Ministry in Mexico and Central America

In spite of the corruption, oppression and injustice that the majority of the Latin American countries experience, the student population continues to grow, and with it an unique opportunity to reach out to and impact them.  We will share current information on the student ministries in these countries, as well as the opportunities to do mission and existing ways of partnership that can be long or short term.

This seminar will be presented in Spanish with translation.

Blas Lopez

Blas Lopez is the General Secretary of Compañerismo Estudiantil (COMPA). COMPA is the IFES movement in Mexico. He and his wife Aracely Martinez have a six-month-old boy named Mateo. They live in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Blas studied Computing Engineering in Tijuana, Baja California Norte. He’s been involved in student ministry since 1998, and has been overseeing the student ministry in Mexico for the last 5 years.

Blas Lopez es secretario general de Compañerismo Estudiantil A.C., ministerio estudiantil afiliado a IFES en México.

Está casado con Araceli Martinez y tienen un bebe de 6 meses llamado Mateo, viven en Guadalajara Jalisco.

Blas estudio ingeniería en computación en Tijuana Baja California y participa en el movimiento estudiantil desde 1998, ahora tiene 5 años a cargo del movimiento nacional.
