Born in India and raised in Chicago, Geogy Thomas is a family physician and the Medical Director for a community health center located in the Appalachian Mountains. He loves practicing family medicine, delivering babies, and copastoring his church. At Urbana 90, Geogy heard God’s call to serve in medical missions. In the small town of Jellico, Tennessee, God taught him about the plight of the rural poor and the disparities of the healthcare system in the U.S. Geogy received his MD from the University of Illinois and then completed his residency in Ventura, California.
