Speakers

For the past 11 years, Esther Daniel has led teams to rescue over 2,000 victims in the fight against bonded labor slavery and labor trafficking in South Asia. She has led advocacy efforts with local governments, law enforcement, and senior bureaucrats to build capacities and impact policies to address the crime of bonded labor slavery in her country. Esther also has directed the restoration of survivors and the prosecution of perpetrators.

Previously, she served IJM as the Director of Public and Justice System Engagement, Director of System Reform, Director of Casework, and Director of Administration.
 
Esther served as an engineer in India before joining IJM in 2006. She has since completed her Bachelor of Laws.
