International Students Track Participant Emails

August Email

We’re excited you’re participating in the International Students Track at Urbana 15! Please join us in praying that God uses this experience in life-changing ways for you and all involved.

Your Life as an Ambassador

Each of us becomes a representative of our country when we live and travel abroad. We also know that “this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven.” [Hebrews 13:14 TLB]  So, we are ambassadors from heaven, sent by God, wherever we go [2 Corinthians 5:16-21 NIV]. The International Students Track is intended to help each of us be a better ambassador for God, whether we are leading ministry at home or representing Christ among other peoples. We also hope the track will give you a taste of heaven, with so many peoples, nations, and languages coming together.

The track features multicultural, multilingual Bible study each morning, three afternoon sessions with international speakers and practical training, an International Lounge for food, fellowship, and discussions, and country prayer groups at night to process what God is saying to you and pray with others from your country or region of the world. All track activities will take place in the Hyatt Regency hotel.

November Email

We’re excited you’ll be coming to St. Louis with more than 850 other International Students Track participants in just over a month!

From recent headlines alone it is easy to see the tremendous need for us to share Jesus’ love and light across the globe. This track is designed to help you find your place and equip you to take that light into the darkness where God calls you. Hearing from Patrick Fung and Lisa Espineli Chinn and connecting with others in the International Lounge are just some of opportunities you’ll have in the track. Will the news be different in the future after thousands of Urbana 15 participants have followed God’s calling for their lives? What story will you tell?

To do by November 30:

If you missed previous track emails, read them here.

You'll receive another track email in December with specific arrival details. General Urbana travel information is here. There are a few spots left in the track, so encourage your friends to register for Urbana and select the International Students Track soon before it is full!
