International students and scholars are vital to God's mission as they cross cultures for education and often go on to serve in key positions of influence in academia, government, and the marketplace around the world.
This residential track will focus on equipping you to serve and magnify Jesus Christ wherever he leads you, bringing the gospel and shalom to the world. Join internationals at Urbana 15 to dream together about finding our lives in God's global mission.
The International Students Track is for international students (including those doing OPT or who recently graduated), international scholars (post-docs, visiting and international faculty), and anyone ministering among internationals.
What to Expect
The International Students Track will guide you through the Urbana experience with:
- Manuscript Bible Studies each morning tailored to track participants
- 3 afternoon plenary sessions which will encourage and equip you to be international missions influencers and leaders; speakers include Lisa Espineli Chinn and Patrick Fung
- Discussions with friends (new and old) and informal training gatherings at the International Lounge
- Prayer Ministry with people who know and understand internationals, without having to leave the track hotel
- Nightly prayer groups to connect with others from your country or region and process what God's been saying to you during Urbana
