Where will Urbana 15 be held?
Urbana 15 will be held in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The morning and evening sessions will be held at the Edward Jones Dome and the America’s Center. Seminars and manuscript study sessions will be held at the America’s Center and various hotels near the America’s Center.
The Edward Jones Dome and the America’s Center are located at 701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, Missouri, 63101.

When does Urbana 15 begin and end?
Urbana 15 will begin Sunday, December 27, 2015, with check-in between 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The welcome session begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Edward Jones Dome. Please be aware that some Urbana 15 tracks will host orientation sessions the afternoon of December 27, prior to the first general session. If this applies to your track, this information will be communicated to you by your track director.
Urbana 15 will end after the last general session at 12:30 a.m. on January 1, 2016 (that is, past midnight on December 31, 2015).
Who Should Participate?
Is there an age limit?
Every Urbana draws people from all over North America who want to learn more about global realities, current missions issues, and their place in God's mission. Urbana’s target audience is college students between the ages of 17 and 29. Participants must be at least 17 years of age by December 27, 2015 and in their final year of high school. There is no upper age limit.
Can high school students attend Urbana 15?
We welcome all high school students in their final year of study, who are 17 years of age or older by December 27, 2015.
Can international students (studying in the US) attend Urbana 15?
Any international students attending a U.S. college or university at any time during 2015 may register for Urbana as a student. See the Tracks section to learn about our International Students Track.
International students must provide all necessary visas and paperwork. Your student visa will need to be active during Urbana 15. Urbana is unable to provide visa assistance, including letters of invitation.
Can international students (studying in Canada) attend Urbana 15?
Any international students attending a Canadian college or university at any time during 2015 may register as a student. See the Tracks section to learn more about our International Students Track.

Can those outside the U.S. and Canada participate?
Yes! We welcome all internationals, especially students and staff involved in national student movements of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Urbana is unable to provide visa assistance, including letters of invitation.
Registration for Urbana 15 happens online. Your registration will be confirmed with an email containing your Urbana ID. If you do not receive this email, check your spam folder, then contact Urbana online or by phone at 608-443-3700.
Can IFES staff participate?
Yes! If you are national staff of an IFES member movement outside North America, please contact your IFES Regional Secretary for details on how you may attend Urbana 15. Urbana 15 is unable to provide visa assistance, including letters of invitation.
Can children come?
Children (including nursing infants) are not permitted at Urbana 15 program venues. Children may, however, stay in Urbana hotel accommodations at their parent’s or guardian’s expense. It is the responsibility of parents or guardians to secure any necessary childcare for their children.
Is Urbana 15 for non-Christians?
Urbana 15 is a missions conference and not specifically an evangelistic event. However, God has used Urbana to bring many people to faith in the past, and we anticipate that some non-Christians may attend Urbana 15, as well.
If you do decide to invite a friend to Urbana 15, make sure your friend knows what to expect. Direct them to urbana.org where they can get a general idea of what Urbana 15 will be like. We also suggest that you and your friend get housing together so that you can help each other process your experiences.
What is the registration fee for Urbana 15?
Pay the $100 deposit by November 10 to lock in the current rate and save $60. Registration fees must be paid in USD funds using credit card, check, or money order.

Beside the Registration Fee, What Will Urbana 15 Cost Me?
Your cost will depend on your preferences and travel arrangements. However, you can probably expect to spend $300 or more in addition to the registration fee.
Transportation ($0 to $500) Get an idea of what your airfare may be by checking google.com/flights. If you are flying to the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, your airfare will vary. Once at the St. Louis airport, the Metro ride to the America's Center is $4 (a two-hour pass). You'll purchase another $4, two-hour pass to get back to the airport after Urbana. If you're driving, the average car will use $0.15 of gas for every mile you drive. Parking is included with reservations at almost all of the hotels.
Lodging (approx. $125 to $500) Each hotel room will cost about $500 for the 5 nights of Urbana. Most rooms can accommodate up to 4 people. If you stay with roommates, your hotel cost could be as low as $125 for the entire conference.
Meals ($50 to $70) Registration covers all evening meals on the 28th through the 31st (every dinner during Urbana 15). If you book a room at one of the hotels Urbana is contracting with, breakfast will be provided. However, lunches are on your own. Budget enough for travel meals and 4 lunches.
Books ($0 to infinity and beyond) Urbana 15's bookstore will feature steep discounts. Budget at least $25 for books.
How do I register?
A $100 deposit must accompany your registration. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If paying by credit card, your remaining balance must be paid by December 27, 2015. If paying by check, your remaining balance must be received by December 11, 2015. Can I use my login information from Urbana 12?
Login information from Urbana 12 has not been retained. Each Urbana 15 participant will need to create a new account in the Urbana 15 registration system.
What is included in the Urbana 15 registration fee?
The registration fee includes all conference costs and 4 evening meals. Travel and housing costs are not included.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
To inquire about receiving a scholarship, contact local InterVarsity staff. Your local church, Christian college chaplain or spiritual life office, or other campus ministry may also have sources of financial aid.
Can I purchase day passes?
Urbana 15 day passes are not available for purchase.
Can we register as a group?
Group discounts are not available for Urbana 15. Register early to take full advantage of discounted pricing. For information on group payment options, contact Urbana online or by phone at 608-443-3700.
Can I transfer my registration?
Each registration is unique and cannot be transferred. The $100 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
How do I cancel my registration?
If you need to cancel your registration, please contact Urbana online or by phone at 608-443-3700. Cancellations received by Friday, December 11, 2015, will be refunded all but the $100 deposit. No refunds will be issued after December 11, 2015. Urbana 15 is unable to substitute or transfer registrations.
How do I find my Urbana ID?
After you register for Urbana 15, you will receive a confirmation email with your Urbana ID. Your Urbana ID is also available in the Connect welcome message.
How do I pay my balance?
Log in to Your Account, then click on Registration and Housing. At the bottom of the Registration Information page, click on Purchase Registration Items. Your remaining balance must be paid in one installment, either online by credit card or by mailing a check (in USD) in one installment.
If paying by credit card, your remaining balance must be paid by December 27, 2015. If paying by check, your remaining balance must be received by December 11, 2015. When should I arrange my travel to Urbana 15?
Travel costs are not included in your conference registration fee. Please wait until you have received your registration confirmation before booking your travel. Helpful travel tips for travel by air, charter bus, and car can be found here.
When should I arrive in St. Louis for Urbana 15?
You should arrive in St. Louis with enough time to complete your hotel check-in, conference check-in, eat dinner, and get to the first session by 7:30 p.m. Conference check-in will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 27, 2015 in the America’s Center.
Please note: For security purposes, the America’s Center prohibits luggage within the Complex. Please check-in to your hotel and leave your luggage there before checking in for Urbana 15. If you plan to arrive before check-in time at your hotel, ask your hotel about luggage storage options.
Do I need to rent a car?
Most Urbana 15 venues are within walking distance of the America’s Center and downtown St. Louis hotels. Public transportation (MetroLink) can be used for hotels that are farther away. A ride from the airport to the Convention Center Station is $4.00, and a daily pass is $3.00. Metro is partnering with Urbana to offer a weekly wristband for $17.50, which can be purchased at Lambert Airport and at the MetroLink station inside of the America's center. You may rent a car if you’d like, but you’ll need to find and pay for parking.
If you have limited mobility, please choose your hotel options carefully.
Housing and Meals
How do I Reserve Urbana 15 housing?
Urbana 15 has arranged housing through St. Louis hotels at a steeply discounted rate. If you are registered, you can book your housing by logging in to Your Account. Plan on about $100 per night, per room (plus tax), depending on the hotel. Sharing your room with 2-3 roommates can reduce the cost even more. Urbana has emailed specific housing instructions to registered track participants. Contact Urbana if you have not received housing instructions.
How do I find a roommate?
Roommate Finder is available in Connect. If you indicated interest in Roommate Finder during registration, log in to Connect and scroll all the way down to find instructions. To indicate your interest in Roommate Finder, log in to Your Account, click on the orange "Edit" button under Additional Profile, and change your response to "Include me in Roommate Finder" to "Yes." Please allow 30 minutes for the registration system to add you to Roommate Finder.
What if I'm not staying in Urbana 15 housing?
If you make other arrangements for your housing during Urbana 15, you’ll still need to check-in at the America's Center between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on December 27, 2015. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the conference venues each day.
What about meals?
Four evening meals, provided December 28–31, are included in your registration fee. If you are staying in Urbana 15 housing, breakfast is included. You are responsible for your lunches throughout the conference, meals while traveling, and any other food you may require.

Do you provide Coaching sessions at Urbana?
During Community Day on the last day of Urbana (December 31), you have the opportunity to recieve a 20-minute coaching session to help process your Urbana experience. Fill out this form to request a session.
Can we book our own meeting room?
On the last day of Urbana (December 31), there's some time for affinity groups to gather to process ideas raised, celebrate common interests, network with friends, and help one another discern next steps with God in his mission. Request a space.
Will interpretation be available?
Urbana does not offer any interpretation services with the exception of American Sign Language (ASL). Check back in the Fall for details regarding Urbana’s ASL services.
Are pets allowed at Urbana?
Pets are not allowed at Urbana 15; however, service dogs for disabled participants are welcome. Please communicate this need both to Urbana 15 and to your hotel prior to arriving in St. Louis.
Helping at Urbana
Are there opportunities to volunteer at Urbana 15?
Yes! Urbana greatly benefits from the service of hundreds of volunteers. Volunteers give of their time and energy to assist in directing foot traffic, helping with registration, and many other tasks that take place behind the scenes.
There are two types of volunteers for Urbana 15:
A Steward is a full-time volunteer for the duration of the conference. Steward registration is now closed. If you are a Steward, you should arrive on December 26 by 2:00 p.m. (to complete check in and join Urbana staff for a banquet) and stay in St. Louis through 8:00 a.m. on January 1. For the rest of the conference (December 27-31) lunch and dinner for Stewards will be provided. Stewards will need to cover their own travel and housing costs and pay a $100 registration fee to confirm and hold their spot. Please note: Stewards are not guaranteed the opportunity to take part in Urbana 15 programming.
A Daily Servant is a part-time volunteer, generally from the St. Louis area, who signs up for designated assignments and shifts. As a thank you, Daily Servants are provided a day pass that allows them to attend the conference for one day as a participant. Daily Servant assignments are still available for December 22, 23 and 26. Daily Servant registration will close when all assignments have been accounted for. During registration, you will be able to choose specific job assignments (including day and time). There is no registration fee, though Daily Servants will need to cover all travel, housing and meal costs.
