Shaylen Jackson


Shaylen Jackson's life was deeply impacted by her experience at Urbana 06 and she hopes that God will meet attendees of Urbana 15 in the same way. Her desire is to help create an atmosphere of welcome and hospitality.  

Shaylen went on a Global Program to China during her last summer of college and has worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship since 2007. She is passionate about planting ministries to unreached and underserved populations on campus. She currently serves on staff at Michigan State University with InterVarsity's Black Campus Ministries and LaFe. Last year, Shaylen led the Bolivia Global Program.

In 2007, Shaylen received her Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing from Western Michigan University, and in 2012 received her Masters of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University.
