Ruth Hicks was born in Australia, lived in Papua New Guinea until age 10, then went to high school and university in New Zealand. She has worked as campus staff, trained other staff, and currently leads the staff team in Quito, Ecuador. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Nutrition, a master’s in Community Development, and a Master of Arts in Marketplace Theology from Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia.
