John is Director of the Center for Integrity in Business at Seattle Pacific University (SPU) and has prior experience in banking and management consulting. John spent ten years with InterVarsity, serving as national director for Professional Schools Ministries helping lead student and faculty work at Harvard Business School and overseeing the national M.B.A. ministry. While with InterVarsity, he co-directed the 1,200-person Open for Business Conference at Urbana 06. John also co-directed SPU’s 2009 national conference on microfinance, as well as the 2011 Bottom Billions/Bottom Line conference exploring the role of business in helping to alleviate global poverty. John has led several teams to the Central African Republic to help launch a microfinance program. He contributes to Comment magazine and other print and web-based journals on matters related to business, ethics and Christian theology.
