In 2016, Jeanette Thomas joined the team at HOPE International, a faith-based organization with an entrepreneurial approach to alleviating poverty. Her current work focuses on the convergence of faith, work, and economics—themes that nourish her inner nerd and keep her imagination engaged around creative expressions of the kingdom of God. In 1998, Jeanette’s passion to see God at work in and among his people drew her to serve in student ministries. Quickly finding a church home at Christ Community, she eventually joined the staff team, serving students and families for several years. After earning her MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, she served at Christ Community again as Pastor of Extension Ministries, cultivating missional partners and initiatives across five campuses.
