David was born and raised in Vallejo, California, and currently resides in San Pablo, California. He has been on staff at University of California, Berkeley for six years, and is the Team Leader for InterVarsity’s oldest Filipino Fellowship in the nation: Kapwa (Tagalog for people of shared identity). He and his wife, Koritha along with their extroverted son, Amos, currently direct the Manila Global Urban Trek, and love traveling. When not on campus, David enjoys thinking, writing, and speaking on contemporary issues of faith and culture that affect Pilipino-Americans today.
